About Keith

The Story

From the Jersey Shore to nightly on WFAN.

Early Years

Keith grew up in Monmouth County, NJ. An honor-roll student and stand-out athlete, he played football, basketball, baseball, and ran track around the Jersey Shore. He first picked up a microphone at 16, calling Pop Warner football games every Sunday. A three-year starting quarterback, team captain, and state champion at Ocean Township High School, he was all-conference, played in the NJ/NY Governor's Bowl, and graduated in 2006 with more than ten football scholarship offers.

College

Keith spent two years at James Madison University as a backup quarterback before transferring home to Monmouth University. After a year on the scout team, he switched to wide receiver, eventually returning his scholarship and joining the radio club to focus on his Communication: Radio and TV major. He graduated from Monmouth in 2011.

After College, Early Career

Keith started DJing at 15 and leaned on it after graduation, working as a DJ, MC, and promoter in the Jersey Shore nightlife scene from 2010–2013. He sold DJ equipment at Guitar Center, then beat out 20,000 applicants to DJ the 2014 MLB Fan Cave, representing Yankees fans for the season — featured in MTV2's 'Off the Bat'. That led to a Social Media Coordinator role at MTV2 in 2015, the first social media hire at fubo TV in 2017, and a stint as Digital Marketing Manager at Roc Nation Sports Agency.

Challenges, Career Change

After leaving Roc Nation with no job lined up, Keith collected unemployment, drove Lyft, delivered Uber Eats, worked at a BBQ restaurant, and sold sneakers, memorabilia, and DJ gear online. While job hunting he doubled down on building his audience — podcasts, vlogs, and daily content on Instagram and Twitter. In 2019, the YES Network gave him his first big break with two solo commercials called 'Fandom Acts of Kindness'. Soon after, he was one of the first hires at Jomboy Media in The Bronx as a social media manager and podcast host. His Brooklyn Nets podcast was featured by Nets Magazine on YES — and followed by Kevin Durant.

Radio and Television Career

In August 2021, Keith auditioned at WFAN The Fan in New York and was later hired to take over for the retiring Steve Somers. After three months on nights, he joined the cast of MLB Network's 'Off Base' in 2022 — living the dream of radio and TV every day. He's also appeared on Yankees Magazine on YES and Sports Final on the NBC nightly news. For more than three years, Keith has taken calls, interviewed reporters and athletes, freestyled, told stories, and shared his sports knowledge on The Fan every night.
